So, as a Christian, we are supposed to provide for those in our household,” Jim added. 2 Thessalonians 3:10: “If anyone will not work, neither shall they eat.”

In Titus 2:1, Paul writes about homemakers, “but speak now of things that become sound doctrine.” A Christian, whether being a man having to keep the home because of situations or a woman, it is a good thing, especially for the children.

It usually goes to the relationships we have with our neighbors and with other people around about us,” Jim said. In Romans 13:7-8, Paul speaks, “render to all their dues”. Jesus taught parables: Luke 16:1 and Matthew 18:21, about the unforgiving servant.

Tom Sheppard, elder at South Main Church of Christ, says the Bible teaches us that Jesus never sinned. Hebrews 4:15 says Jesus was tempted in every way we are, yet without sin. Matthew 4, Satan tempted Jesus after fasting for forty days and forty days; he was hungry. Satan told him he could turn stones into bread. Jesus told him man should not by live by bread alone, but by every word out of the mouth of God.
