NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Veterans’ Day was put front and center during Sunday worship service at South Main Church of Christ, with visiting preacher Daryl Hurst delivering the sermon.
“God’s veterans” was the title of the lesson.
Daryl referenced the book of Daniel, chapter 3, with Shadrach, Meshach and Abegnego and how Nebuchadnezzar ordered them to bow down to his image of gold, but they refused him.
