Jim sits down with Dave Neal, elder at Somerset Church of Christ, to discuss stewardship. The apostle Paul once said “I now rejoice in my suffering for you and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for the sake of His body.” The word “steward” appears eighty-five times in the entire Bible. Stewardship is a gift of God and is achieved by faith. Ephesians 3 outlines that the stewardship of God is God’s grace that was given to me for you. To be faithful and wise is a service under the definition of stewardship (Luke 12:42).
