NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Contracts, covenants, agreements and warranties were the focus of the Worship lesson on this Sunday morning. Jim Lanning, Elder at South Main Church of Christ, presented the lesson. Jim said we have an unchangeable God, a God of truth. NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Members attending Bible Study this morning reviewed Daniel chapter 7 of the New Testament. Tom Sheppard, Elder, led the Bible Study this morning. Chapter 7 has symbolism and sees that Daniel has a dream. He is surprised and concerned about it. Daniel’s priority is to know God is in control and that all three kingdoms are to be destroyed, but that the church will last forever. NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Twelve things we need to keep, part of Matthew 3:8 (NKJV) was the focus of the third and final evening of the South Main Church of Christ’s Fall Gospel Meeting. Dozens of members and visitors assembled in the building housing Christ’s church in New Lexington to hear our guest preacher, Mark Tonkery, of Norval Park Church of Christ in South Zanesville, deliver his sermon. NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Dozens of members and visitors gathered tonight in the building housing Christ’s church on Smith St. in New Lexington to praise God, Jesus Christ and then gather for fellowship. Mark Tonkery was our guest preacher on this second evening of South Main Church of Christ’s Fall Gospel Meeting of 2024. Mark’s lesson focused on the Parable of the Vineyard (Isaiah 5:1-7).
